My response to Rankin 1
For theses photos we used this drawing that we had near us and we used it because we thought it would look good and it made us remember Rankin's work it made us remember this photo that he took to Cara Delevingne, even though it has nothing to do with it, so we decided to use it because it is colourful and thought it had to do with this project.

My response to Rankin 2
My response to Rankin:
I edited these two photos because they are similar as the photographers pictures, all though I committed a slight mistake, I forgot to take the watch off his wrist.
Basically I only had to change the contrast and brightness of them so the background would be a different colour all though it was already white. Changed the contrast so the dark parts in the pictures would get a better look.
I'm pleased with theses photos because they are simple and easy to edit and I actually like Rankins work and I might use some ideas from this project for my final piece.

Cut outs
I tried to re-create some of rankins cut outs, and I did the possible to make it look like his work and these were my results.

Developing my ideas by using Rankin destroy project:
My response to rankin destroyed project:
For these edits I used many different materials such as, photograph paper and ripped it, I used a white ink ball pen to draw, paint and just dripped it on the paper, and for the last edit I just cut it, to be similar to a broken mirror.
Out of all this edits, the one I like the most is the black and white one, that I used photo paper, That I ripped it into three pieces and glued them together.
I also enjoyed making all those patterns and sketches with the white ball pen, and taking advantage of the colour circles I have there.

Identity Photoshoot
Refining my ideas for identity:
I used this picture to edit because she's with a mysterious face, like a locked face with no expressions, changed it to black and white and increased the contrast to make it even more mysterious.
I duplicated the layer 6 times and I did just one row of photos and after that I flaternned the layer and duplicated it three more times. After doing all that, I changed the opacity of each layer, so the could go down fading, each one of the layers has a different percentage of opacity.

Basically, what I did for this edit was get these three random hand pictures and turned them black and white, increased the contrast and the brightening and overlapped them all together, as you can see the background sweatshirt creates some attention to the person who's observing the picture.
